1. If you already reported the issue to CCP, I'm not sure why you decided to post here. That said, there is a section of the forums dedicated to bugs and issues where you can (objectively) report the issue and ask for follow up. General discussion is meant for talking about the game in general, and not to report issues with the software.
2. You have put hours into a beta, which you were told was not a finishted product when you signed up. Bugs are epxected, and you have a responibility of a beta tester to properly report them. Being upset is ok, but if you expected a finished game that was free of issues then the problem lays with your expectations of the current status of the game. Also, the merc pack doesn't give you anything related to a Sica; the only thing it might have done is let you buy the BPO's to put on the vehicle. If those are still in your possession, then there is no justification for a refund on the merc pack. If those are gone, CCP will get the items back for you based on your purchase.

Never use anything your not prepared to lose, either though a game-play or a glitch(especially in a beta). You try skilling towards a HAV, then trying and be infantry. O wait, you can't. You realize you could have played this game without buying the merc pack right? That means your purchase was unnecessary and was optional. Asking for a refund becaue of something unrelated is like saying, "hey McDonald's I want a refund because the the bathroom didn't have soap". You paid for the food, not the soap.
You also realize that this is an unfinished product as well, right? In a beta it should be expected that you might encounter a bug. If you didn't expect bugs, then you either 1) didn't read the blurb about this being a beta, or 2) decided it must not be true. Either way, neither is justification for your request (in my eyes). And I'm not saying this to defend CCP, only to point out that your logic seems flawed to me.
EDIT: One more point: you bought the merc pack from Sony. Seems to me that Sony is who you talk to about a refund not CCP. If I buy a game from Gamestop, I don't talk to the manufacturer for a refund. |
